About

The burner extractor is a machine in the manual age that extracts ores for coal. It can draw from one of the 5 ore deposits, coal, iron, copper, stone, and uranium. It has an optimized version, which allows it to use fuel resources (wood and coal) more efficiently, allowing for 10 cycles instead of 5.

Appearance

The extractor appears to be a corroded excavator with gears on the top controlling a drill in the center which spins when powered. It takes up a 2x2 space and has an input for fuel and output.

Using the Burner Extractor

To use the burner extractor, simply place the machine on an ore deposit. On coal deposits, it is possible to make a self-powering system by placing 2 facing each other. As for copper/iron deposits, it is best just to go back and forth between the two and feed and harvest when necessary, saving up for the electric extractor, a 3x3 extractor which runs on electricity instead of coal, which in raw materials, requires 7.5 stacks of both copper and iron ingots to research as motors.
